Certified Organic Seedlings

All BUFCO gardens start with certified organic seedlings grown by Sophie Clark at Trout Lily Nursery. We carry many varieties of heirloom tomatoes, hot & sweet peppers, delicious eggplant, sweet & spicy basils, edible flowers and all your favourite perennial herbs like thyme, sage, oregano, and much more. Available for touchless pickup or delivery.

Pick Up Location

  • Pick ups at 385 The West Mall, Etobicoke, Tuesdays-Fridays 11am-7pm, April 20 – June 11.
  • Porch pick-ups in Roncesvalles Village are reserved for foot & bike traffic only. Please let us know if this applies to you.

Delivery Zones

Deliveries occur weekly on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, from April 20 – June 9.

Preorders are not guaranteed

Seedling pre-orders are not guaranteed. We do our best to predict availability but plants are living beings and subject to the whims of Mother Nature. Purchase will be refunded or substitutions will be offered in the event of a crop failure or delay.

Order Instructions (click to read!)
1 Submit separate orders for separate pick up weeks
For example, if you would like you pick up your cold hardys plants in April and then pick up your heat loving plants in May, please submit two orders corresponding to the two pick up dates.
Note: if you are purchasing a DIY Raised Garden Bed Kit as we cannot gaurantee in advance that the preorder dates will align.
2 Check seedling availabily week with “Preorder for” filter

If a seedling is out of stock for the date you would like to pick up, check if it is avalailable on an earlier date.
For example, If you want to pick up parsley on the week of May 4, but it is out of stock, check if there is parsley available on April 27.
3 Select Pick Up / Delivery Date at Checkout
At checkout, the preorder date is automatically set to the latest preorder date in your cart and you cannot choose an earlier date.
Pick Ups:
You may choose to pick up on a TUESDAY, THURSDAY, or SATURDAY only. The date must be AFTER your latest seedling is available.

Deliveries:
We will deliver on Tuesday or Thursday of the selected shipping week depending on your location.
You will be notified by the Friday in advance of your delivery.
Orders must be submitted by Fridays prior to desired preorder date
Orders must be submitted by Friday, 5pm the week before the pick up week, regardless your pick up date that week.
For example, if you are picking up Saturday, April 24th, you must submit your request by Friday, April 16th.

Similarly, all changes to existing orders in the upcoming week must be arranged by Friday.
For example, if you are changing your pick up date from Tuesday, April 20th, to Thursday, April 22nd, you must reschedule by Friday, April 16th.
