We provide challenging opportunities for all team members to enhance their skills, develop their interests, and test their limits in an encouraging, supportive, equitable and fun environment. We encourage Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour to apply for all our positions and to join us on our quest to make the world a better place, one beautiful vegetable garden at a time. If our missions excite you, and you are driven to provide excellence in every endeavor, then BUFCO is the home for you.

Part time to Full time, Seasonal

LOCATIONS: Downtown Toronto and client locations throughout the City

We are looking to build a small but powerful Labour Pool of hard-working, capable people who love physical work, love the outdoors, love the earth, and love being around other great people. Those included in our Labour Pool will be called upon to join our full time crew to assist with larger installations for which an expanded crew is necessary to complete the job in a timely and efficient manner.

We gratefully acknowledge the privilege we have to be working and living on land that is the traditional territory of many First Nations, Inuit, and Mètis peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Huron Wendat peoples. This sacred territory known as Turtle Island has been a site of human activity for over 15,000 years and is the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We recognize the violence and loss of culture that makes our presence on this land possible and recognize our responsibility to confront the violence and oppression in which we are complicit and to work to dismantle the structures and behaviours that perpetuate it.

BUFCO is actively working to recognize our own contributions to the systemic inequities that exist in our society. We are committed to doing the hard work required to uproot racism in all its forms and to amplify and support the voices of those who experience racism. We understand the importance of listening with an open mind and heart to people impacted by inequity. We strive every day, in every action, to nurture and maintain an equitable working environment; to provide a path forward to fair, prosperous and hopeful futures for all; and to welcome people of all races, religions, nationalities, cultures, genders, sexual identities, languages, and abilities, so all can feel comfortable, respected, and valued.
