Cold weather gardening is growing in popularity as people look for ways to get more time in, and more harvest from their gardens. The BUFCO Hoop Tunnel is a simple device that address that desire in a simple, elegant manner.
Your hoop tunnel will play double duty, extending your growing season as well as providing protection against critters. Fully installed, the set up includes eight custom made bamboo hoops, a length of bird netting for use as a critter barrier, a plastic sheet that acts as a simple greenhouse, and all the required hardware to make working your hoop tunnel a breeze.
Please note, our Hoop Tunnels are intended for installation over a 4’ x 8’ area, and are more successful on raised beds due to the fact that the soil in the bed is isolated from the surrounding frozen ground.
